Which Book Cover Do You Like The Best?

Lisa Hainline is doing the new cover of the revised and improved book, How to Launch a Christian Best-Selling Book. I am not very good at choosing book covers. Help me pick the best one!

For more examples of her excellent book covers, visit her website at

  1. Number 4 - "I want" without being cheesy.

  2. I like 3 and 8. A lot of the others have too much going on or things that don't seem to relate. (Like water?) And the piles of money turn me off as a Christian. These two are clean and simple but effective.

  3. I like #2 and #8. Some of the others look a bit cultish, don't like the money one and the water ones kind of look like it's drowning.
#8 is probably the clearest message.

  4. I prefer #1 but #8 can do as well.

  5. My vote goes for 8 or 14 - I didn'tlike any with the hand holding the book. The thumb does not look like it belongs to that hand. Just my opinion.

  6. I'd pick #3 but lose the white pinwheels.
Number 9 would be second choice and I like the strength of #7

  7. Replies
    1. I looked at 14,and like that one, too.

  8. Not crazy about any of them but 14 is okay.

  9. These are all mock-ups, not polished, I probably should have clarified that -- I've got to buy the license for the one I choose, which will get rid of the pinwheels, et cetera. Thanks for your input. I am leaning towards number 8 with a blue color.

  10. I like 9, 18 and 19.

9 the best in the sense that it creates a great impression of what can happen with a book..... except I would pull the out of stock down away from the title....
