One of the things I have been doing recently for marketing in addition to building my email list is I'm trying to build my BookBub followers. Try as I might, I have not been able to get BookBub to feature any of my books for a long time. I tell myself, it's because God wants all the glory for Himself. If I ever reach any modicum of success, it will be because He made it happen, not because of BookBub. They are the premiere site for book promotion with a huge reach for indy authors as well as traditional authors. So, I am involved in this multi-author promotion where you can win a $50 Amazon gift card, and all you have to do is follow a few authors on BookBub, like me, who are trying to do the same thing I am. I think you need to set up an account on BookBub if you don't have one, but if you are a reader it's worth the easy sign-up. Each day they offer high-quality books for free and at greatly discounted prices. The reason why authors want a thousand readers following them on BookBub is that when an author launches a new book, BookBub will send an email to the author's BookBub followers as a promotion for a new release. If you don't want to take the time to enter the drawing but would like to follow me anyway, you can go to my page on BookBub at https://www.bookbub.com/profile/lorilyn-roberts. I have 302 followers, so I have a long ways to go to hit a thousand. The follow button is at the top right-hand corner. To participate in the drawing with a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card, go to https://authorsxp.com/readers/gc In the meantime, I continue to work on the next book in the Seventh Dimension Series, The Howling. It has an unusual plot that's taken an enormous amount of research, but I hope to begin writing soon.
